Trick-or-Treat Cake

It's October and that means Halloween and lots of yummy Halloween recipes! This "bag of candy" is a lot of fun to make. Click here for this fun recipe!

Notes: Fun and yummy! I suggest buttercream icing as opposed to the canned frosting, it just tastes much better! The decorating gels run too much for me so again I'd suggest thinning out the buttercream icing and using a writing tip for the pumpkin vines.  I also suggest crumb coating the cake-makes it so much easier to ice, then freeze for 30-45 min. I cut the zigzag shape once it was crumb coated.  I used a bunch of different candies for the top. Enjoy!
