Mummy Cupcakes

Check out these mummy cupcakes for Halloween! I didn't follow a recipe for this, I just googled Halloween recipes and found a ton of cute mummy ones. I baked chocolate cupcakes and iced them with buttercream icing. I piped the icing on with at tip #104 and added some M&M's for the eyes. Try it out..what fun!

Brain Cupcakes

What says Happy Halloween better than brain cupcakes?! These are great! Click here to enjoy this fun recipe!

Notes: What fun! They look just like brains! I baked a batch of chocolate cupcakes in Halloween liners.  I added copper (light skin tone) icing color to white buttercream icing.  I piped the icing with the #10 tip. Enjoy!

Campfire S'mores Cupcakes

There are so many fun ways to make s'mores cupcakes! Click here to enjoy this one!
Notes: I made this for a friend at school who's daughter was having a birthday. What fun! I substituted red fruit roll ups for the baked candies (the flames). You can also use a box cake mix if you were short on time. I also used my own buttercream icing recipe rather than the marshmallow creme. The fun of these recipes is mixing ingredients up and using what you like and what you have on hand.  I dipped the end of the toothpick into black buttercream icing. These would be fun to make for summertime! Enjoy!

Cincinnati Chili

This is perfect to make on the weekends now that the weather is getting a little cooler. Click here to check out this delicious chili recipe!
Notes: This is easily our favorite chili dish! It works well with both hamburger or turkey, whatever is your preference.  I am allergic to beans, so I omitted it from the recipe but my husband added it as a topping to his.  Both regular or wheat spaghetti work well for this.  I added shredded cheese and sour cream to the top of mine. My husband prefers 5 way chili and added cheese, raw onions and beans to his. We cooked ours in the crockpot on low for 4 hours.  This also freezes well if you have a lot leftover. Enjoy!

Orange Candy Corn Bars

If you love candy corn like I do, this is a great Halloween dessert! Click here for the recipe!
Notes: This was a lot of work but well worth it. It was very sweet so I cut it into smaller bars.  The paste colors are definitely brighter than the liquid colors so I would recommend using those in this recipe.  Enjoy!

Jack-O-Lantern

Here's a fun jack-o-lantern cake for Halloween. Flip an ice cream cone upside down and stick it in the top and add some candy corn for teeth. Click here for this great recipe!
Notes: This isn't exactly the recipe I used here but it is very similar.  I outlined the eyes and mouth with black icing and used candy corn for the mouth rather than the fruit roll ups.  Either would work or any other candies you have on hand. I used 2 bundt cakes to make this as well.  It was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Boo the Ghost Cake

Here's a fun cake the kids can help with. This ghost cake is perfect for Halloween.  Click here for this fun recipe.

Notes: What fun! I made a ghost pattern and put it on cardboard, then set the cardboard on top of the cake and carefully cut out the ghost shape. (You can keep the ghost pattern to be used again for other cakes.) I recommend buttercream icing to the canned icing.  I covered a cake board with orange tissue paper for a festive, Halloween look. Enjoy!

Dirt and Worms Cupcakes

How about some dirt and worms cupcakes for Halloween? These are simply chocolate cupcakes, baked and cooled then iced with orange icing.  I got a package of dirt crumbs and a package of gummy worms from the craft store (AC Moore) then just sprinkled them on for some Halloween fun. Enjoy!

Spider Web Cupcakes

Here are some fun spider web cupcakes for Halloween! Bake and cool 24 chocolate cupcakes and ice with white icing. Cut licorice strips into pieces to look like spider webs. You can use an orange m&m or a skittle for the middle of the spider, then pipe orange legs on the spider. These are a lot of fun to make. Enjoy!

Webster's Web

Here's a fun spider web cake for Halloween. Click here for this easy to make cake.
Notes: This is not the exact recipe that I followed for this cake but it is similar. I used my own recipe for buttercream icing, rather than the one in the book. You can use whatever you prefer. I used a tip #2 for the spider web circles. You can use whatever candies you have on hand to make the spider. Enjoy!

Halloween Skeleton Brownies

Here's a fun twist to brownies. Just bake your favorite brownie mix then add these fun skeleton candies. Just stick them in the brownies and make them look like they're trying to get out! The skeleton candies came in a mix from the craft store but this would work well with any Halloween candy mold candies. Have fun!

Chocolate Halloween Cupcakes

Just to add a new twist on chocolate Halloween cupcakes...bake 24 chocolate cupcakes and ice with chocolate buttercream icing. (I do not recommend the canned frosting-just doesn't work or taste as good) then add Halloween sprinkles. I got the cupcake liners and skeleton sticks at AC Moore/Michael's. They have great holiday baking stuff! Enjoy!

Halloween Cupcakes

Looking for some easy Halloween cupcakes? These are simple. Just bake 24 chocolate cupcakes, ice with orange icing, then decorate with whatever Halloween sprinkles you have on hand. Enjoy!
